PEAK HEALTH SERIES - WORKSHOP 1
The major part of being healthy is keeping your cells healthy and their environment clean and hospitable. We accomplish this through the choices we make each day in the basic areas of life: what we eat and drink; how we exercise, rest, and breathe; and how we think and feel.
The Peak Health Series - Workshop 1 is the first of a series of 3 workshops regarding how the basic areas of life affect the body’s pH balance and, therefore, the cell’s internal environment. It is not about counting fat grams or calories, watching cholesterol or the latest vitamin, herb, or mineral craze. It is about regulating, through food choices, your internal environment so that your systems, organs, and cells can survive without undue stress.
WEEK 1: Learn the role the body plays with regard to “health” and “disease”. Find out the current status of your internal environment through pH testing.
WEEK 2: Clarity on protein, please! We will discuss the amount of protein essential for growth, building new tissue, and repairing damaged tissue as well as the potential dangers of eating too much protein.
WEEK 3: The Disease Process. Learn how disease develops within the body and preventative actions you can take to set yourself up for health rather than disease.
WEEK 4: Learn how to proceed with regard to what you eat and drink based upon what you have learned regarding the current conditions of your internal environment.
